Favorite Songs of the Year ~ Honorable Mentions
I would have to say that the year of 2011 in music was definitely a deep one. Part of it could be myself putting more time into listening but I also believe that it was also just exceptionally good. While attempting to weave together some sort of ‘best of’ list, I definitely benefited from all the music that I was able to take in. This list in particular would be the songs/artists who ‘just missed’ the cut of 100 in terms of songs of year. I limited this list to artists who did not have a song already in my favorites, so you will not find another song by them in my ‘favorites’. But they are way too good to not go unnoticed.
